· Meta Estate Trust has obtained total revenues of over 15 million lei, an increase of 35% compared to the same period last year.

· The net profit recorded is 7 million lei, an increase of 90% compared to the same period last year.

· The company has collected 53.7 million lei from transactions.



Bucharest, November 15, 2023: Meta Estate Trust, (stock symbol MET), a holding company operating in the real estate sector, reports increasing financial results in the first 9 months of 2023. The company has invested over 50 million lei (10.6 million euros) in the first 9 months of the year in 16 projects, and the company's investment portfolio has reached a value of 93.6 million lei.

The total assets of Meta Estate Trust have exceeded 107 million lei, a 9% increase compared to the end of 2022, primarily financed by the additional liquidity generated by projects completed this year.

This year, the real estate market in Romania has stagnated and the number of transactions has decreased. However, we have managed to deliver strong results and exceed our financial targets. This proves that our investment strategy works in any market context and that our business model is resilient and adaptable to market cycle.

In the future, we will focus on developing the business line partnerships with developers, gradually monetizing the investment portfolio from the early-stage business line, and operationalizing new projects in the rentals segment. We will continue to expand the project portfolio through our own resources and additional bank financing.”

Total revenues exceeded 15 million lei, an increase of 35% compared to the same period last year, while operating expenses increased by only 23%. The company received the equivalent in lei of approximately 10.8 million euros from closed investment transactions. Net profit was 7 million lei, an increase of 90% and exceeded the budgeted value for 2023.

„It is very important that this financial performance of the company comes against the background of settling the activity into sustainable processes and carrying out these processes by a new executive team, with diverse and complementary skills, united by common values and the mission to deliver results for the company's shareholders. In terms of good news for shareholders, we add a first for Meta Estate Trust: we are following the implementation of a balanced shareholder remuneration policy, which harmonizes their needs with ensuring resources for the company's development plans. We have proposed for the next AGOA the approval of the distribution of cash dividends in gross amount of 3,757,429.68 lei.”

The asset structure as of September 30, 2023 follows the investment strategy of Meta Estate Trust, implementing four main lines of business: Profit-sharing partnerships with developers, Early stage or acquisition of homes in early stages of construction with exit before or upon completion, Call/Put-Option which involves pre-contracting a future or completed property, as well as Income recurring which involves the acquisition of homes that generate rental income.
